Kevin Divoll pleaded guilty to one count of distribution of child pornography and one count of possession of child pornography, the US Attorney for Massachusetts said. He faces up to 40 years in prison, per federal sentencing guidelines. He must serve a minimum of five years behind bars.
Divoll was caught after federal investigators identified someone sharing child porn over the VA Medical Center's public Wi-Fi from May through July 2022. Agents searched his home in August and found porn on a laptop, external hard drive, and cellphone featuring a prepubescent minor and a child younger than 12, the prosecutor said.
